Waking up with a new idea and spirit of bringing change in traditional discoveries proves that your soul is alive and your mind is healthy enough to cope with the ongoing trends. The passion for innovating new gadgets is for tech advancement in the world. Every technology tycoon is working day and night to bring something new to the market; Samsung worked to flip the world through its Z-flip, and Apple worked to entertain people with its advanced cars and smartwatches that led to a thrilling competition of innovation to stand out in the existing digital market and one of them succeeded.
Graham Bell introduced This world with the practical phone in the eighteenth century. They evolved from rotary phones to push-button models and eventually, small handy devices. We have seen the evolution of smartphones from average display to high-resolution screen display, button to flawless touch, 2G to 5G network, single screen to double, and now the screens that can fold too. We have seen Samsung, Google, and Apple competing for innovation to outdate each other with their smartphones, foldable screen phones, airpods, and watches. Samsung blessed us with a phone that can fold like a book outdating Google folding phones. They had time for inventions to be the best ones but still needed to catch up to a Chinese company. The discovery of foldable phones that can unfold like a book was considered the end of the screen until Huawei- a chinese leading global provider of smartphones launched the first “tri-fold phone” leaving behind the basic folding concept of mobile phones.
In this blog post, you’ll discover the features, design, performance, screen, and additional features of the recently launched tri-fold phone device “Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design”. Buckle up and let's explore the features of this exclusive phone.
Hello to the Tech Marvel: World 1st tri-fold Screen Smartphone
Technology never sleeps, and neither does the “craving for new” that fuels our daily lives. Enter the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design, the latest entrant in the ever-evolving world of foldable smartphones. With its sleek design, powerful display, friendly user interface, and impressively slim profile it promises to be more than just a gadget—it’s your new digital companion.
Huawei has officially launched the world’s first dual-hinged, triple-screen bi-foldable smartphone the world has ever seen - Huawei Mate XT. The phone has three folds that look like a tablet when fully unfolded. This masterpiece of tech offers a 6.4-inch front display that increases to 10.2 inches when you unfold it. Not only this, it has a thickness of 3.6mm (12.8mm when folded) which means 60 times thicker than a single strand of hair. Comparatively, Huawei Mate XT weighs almost the same as thirty-six sheets of paper, making it one of the lightest smartphones of the century.
The Mate XT has been released in China and the prices are as high as expected. In China, the starting price of the triple-fold device is 19,999 Yuan (about $2,809) around Rs 2,35,000 which is quite expensive for an Android phone. The 512GB variant costs $3089 and 1TB for $3370, despite its high price, the Chinese retailer reported 3.7 million pre-orders. Huawei products are considered luxury items in China making them accessible to only a small segment of the population. Stock is limited, and demand is so high in China, that even with a price of 20,000 yuan (about $2,800), the phone is sold out everywhere, and it's available in China only.
But we are staying optimistic. Perhaps the Huawei Mate Xt will be available globally in 2025. Until then, Let's enjoy the winter holidays with a cup of hot chocolate.
